The does on this page are our younger mature does. These girls are still growing and maturing but have past the point of being Junior does. We will keep their pictures as updated as possible. These little ladies dams can be seen on the Mature LaMancha doe page.
Lunashower SFE Ella Enchanted 3/3/08 (LA 84 +V++)
Sire: Devonshire JC Sam Elliot
Ella is a very precocious young doe with a very mischievious personality (very much like her half sister Secret). Ella is very level across the topline, wide in the chest and rump areas and stands very correctly on her legs. She also seems to walk with a prima donna air. She has freshened with a lovely udder, wonderful side attachments, high and wide in the rear. Her milk production has been good for her age and maturity.
2009 show record: 2x 1st, 3x 2nd, and 1x 3rd.
Ella has been bred to Inquest this fall. 2nd doe and all bucks will be available.
Appleberry Cove SS Obsidian 3/12/08
Sire: Devonshire JC Sam Elliot
Obsidian (Obi) is a very sweet and docile little doe who is built very much like her mother (Sabrina). She would almost be identical in color and color pattern except everywhere that Sabrina is red, Obi is chocolate. She is a dairy doe with a very long topline and wide when she walks. She also has excellent head shape and breed character. She will get to join our herd as one of the few does with wattles.
Her fall 2009 show record stands at: 1x 1st, 2x 2nd, 1x 4th, and 2x 5th do far.
Obi has been bred this fall to Footloose (ND). All kids will be available.

Dam: CH Appleberry Cove Fudge Eclair (LA 89 VEVE)

Angel exhibits very similar type to all the rest of the Eclair family being a very long and tall animal with a great deal of dairy character and breed character. Angel is a tall doe with very good spring of rib and length of neck. Her topline is correct and her rear leg set in surprisingly wide. She has freshened with a very nice udder. It is very capacious, high and wide in the rear, nice side attachments and a very nice fore udder. She came into milk with very good production this spring.
Her 2009 show record: 2x 1st, 2x 2nd, 2x 3rd, and 1x reserve grand champion.
Angel has been bred to Sammy this fall. 2nd doe kid and all buck kids will be available for sale.
Lunashower SDS Ruhamah 3/5/08

Ruhamah is Hebrew for "loved one" and she definitely is that. This little beauty is one of twins from Secret. She and her brother are very tall, long, dairy kids that are very level across the topline and high and wide in the escutcheon area. Her brother is living in SC as a Jr herdsire. "Rue" continues to impress us as she grows and we are very excited to get her into the show ring.
Fall 2009 show record stands at 1x 1st, 1x 2nd, 1x 3rd,2x 4th, 1x grand champion and 1x reserve grand. Pictured at 7 months old.
Rue will be bred to Footloose (ND) this fall. All kids will be available for sale.
