The Future Herdsires.
These are the new guys on the block. We will be using them along with our mature bucks during this fall's breeding season. As we get to know these guys and watch them mature we will update their profiles. We are very excited about adding and using these guys and their bloodlines in our herd!

Scotney is a very tall, level, and powerful buckling with excellent leg set and wonderful breed and dairy character. We absolutely love his littlermate sister and his mother (see Nubian Doe Page) and could not part with this little guy just yet. "Scot" is the perfect blend of his dam and sire bringing all the grace and dairyness of his dam and the power and size of his sire along with both parent's correct structure.
Sugar, Scot's dam, is an 8 year old this year with 8 freshenings but she is still going strong and is even more competitve in the showring now than she was as a slow growing youngster. Her current show record stands at 7x grand champion, 8x BOB, 8x BUOB, 2x BUIS, and 1x BDIS. She has also milk tested with 5.2% butterfat.
Scot is a blend of some of the best founded old bloodlines and we can't wait to see what he will do with our girls and with herds all around!

"Inquest" is part of a new adventure in our herd with expanding our bloodlines. He is very dairy, smoothly blended, well sprung ribs, and a very level topline. We are excited to see how he blends with our girls and how he grows as a herdsire. Picture coming soon!
Inquest's dam, Silhouette, placed 5th at the 2007 Nationals as a 2 year old and is quite a lovely doe. Her dam, Teegan, was All American in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001. Teegan also has a long National show record with 8th yearling milker in 1998, 1st/1st udder in 1999, and 6th in 2002 in the 5 to 6 year olds.
Inquest's sire, Almost Legal, was All American in 2006. His dam, Legally Blonde, is a beautiful doe with a wonderful mammary system and general appearance. Almost Legal's sire, Bad Attitude, has sired many beautiful animals including: SGCH 4*M Kastdemur's Bad News 92 VEEE, GCH 3*M Kastdemur's Zima 92 EEEE, GCH 4*M Kastdemur's Orange Crush 90 VEEE, 4*M Kastdemur's Cazillion (2005 Jr Reserve National Champion), and 1st Sr Get of Sire 2005 Nationals.
Lee's full sister, South-Fork Legal Trisket appraised 89 VEVE as a first freshener and is well on her way to finishing her championship.

"Savvy" as this little guy is know around here, is the other addition to our new adventure. He is very wide and powerful with short and strong pasterns and a beautifully level topline. He also has a super cute face! Picture coming soon!
Savvy's dam, Savannah, is a beautiful, long doe with a lovely mammary. Her dam, Montana, was Reserve All American in 2005 and has a newly flawless mammary and topline. Her sire, Saylor, is also the sire Timber*Cove Say Honey Dew (LA 90 VEEE) and Altrece Say Red Ridinghood (LA 90 EVEV) as well as many other powerful does from the past.
Savvy's sire comes from a very strong maternal line. His granddam, Skoblikova, has a stunning udder and general appearance. She was 4th 2 year old at the 2007 Nationals and this year was 4th 4 year old at the 2009 Nationals.

Footloose is a very correct little buck and we would like to thank Lloyd and Kay Kirby for this wonderful little buck, we absolutly love him. He will mostly be used to service our fist fresheners.
