Purchasing
Please read below before reserving or purchasing one of our animals.
We do not accept deposits on unborn kids. Reserving kids is on a first come first served basis. Your name, phone number, mailing address (or email address) will be put on the list. We encourage you to make 2nd and 3rd choices in case the does don't cooperate. You will be notified ASAP. You will be given 1 week to responed and claim the kid. It will otherwise be offered to someone else. 50% of the purchase price is due as a down payment by the time the kid is one week old and is NOT refundable. The remainder of the purchase price is due upon the pick up of the kid. Kid must be picked up by the age of 8 weeks old. At this time we do not offer shipping. Arrangements and transportation are up to the buyer to work out with the seller. We reserve the right to retain any doe kid as a replacement doe in the event of unforeseen circumstances. No buck kids will be kept out of first fresheners unless they freshen with a quality udder and good milk production.
We offer discounts for youth under 18 and purchases of multiple animals (3 or more) unless otherwise noted.
We keep a small herd of animals. Because of this, quality animals (milkers, kids, yearlings, and occasionally bucks) may be available throughout the year. Feel free to inquire.
We do not guarantee any goat purchased will be a champion or even a class winner.
There is no guarantee as to the quality of the mammary sytem on any unfreshened doe. Fertility is not guaranteed on a buck under 12 months of age or if infertility is caused by injury or disease acquired after purchase. The purchase of a bred doe does not guarantee a pregnancy. "Bred" does have stood and been serviced by a buck and have not shown signs of a successive heat cycle. If the doe does not freshen then she may be rebred within 12 months of purchase date to the same buck (if available) she was sold as bred to or a substitute buck will be made available.
We do guarantee the health of any animal on the day of pick up. If dissatisfied with the purchase for reasons of quality (some restrictions may apply) the animal may be returned and a refund or a replacement animal may be made available. We will not refund/replace an animal after 2 weeks from the purchase date. We will not refund/replace an animal returned in less than good condition.
